Today Breakthru is excited to announce that our clinical services are now expanding in Brisbane, with the introduction of both Speech Therapy and Counselling to our growing portfolio of Allied Health services. With the introduction of these services to our Fortitude Valley office, Breakthru now has capacity to support customers immediately, with no current waitlist. Whether you are looking to improve your speech, punctuation, and swallowing, or you’re looking for a counsellor to help achieve your mental health goals, our collaborative and warm clinicians are always here to lend a helping hand.

Say hi to Jasmine, our new Counsellor!
Jasmine is a fully registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and holds a Master’s in Counselling.
Jasmine also has a rich background in youth work and counselling in the Domestic Violence space where she specialises in cognitive behavioural therapy and trauma informed practice to support young adults with a host of problems in their daily living. She embraces a strength-based approach to help her clients find resilience and strength within themselves to live a more enriched and meaningful life.
Jasmine enjoys connecting with others and she has a passion for helping diverse individuals with mental health struggles. Outside of work, Jasmine loves to spend time with her friends and family, going on hikes and exploring new places in Brisbane.
Say hi to Nicola, our new Speech Therapist!
Nicola recently moved from New Zealand where she worked for over three years within the disability and brain-injury community.
Qualified with a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Nicola has broad clinical experience, supporting both children and adults with communication and swallowing, including cognitive communication, apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive aphasia and motor speech impairments.
Nicola is person-centric with a commitment to helping improve the quality, safety and independence of our customers and stakeholders. Nicola has a passion for providing holistic care of people with complex needs.
In her spare time, you will find Nicola on the netball court, near the ocean or enjoying all the wonderful local eateries sunny Brisbane has to offer.
