General Manager visits Transfield Services

2nd Shot of Simon Lee1

Break Thru’s General Manager of Employment Services Simon Fairall, recently made the trip to Carrington to visit ongoing employer, Transfield Services. It was a busy day for all involved, with Simon learning the day-to-day activities of the company and meeting a range of staff.

Break Thru has developed quite the relationship with Transfield Services in the past, placing 67 job seekers – 22 Disability Employment Services and 45 Job Services Australia – with the company over the years.

First stop of the day was the Induction of Transfield’s recent intake of successful applicants. Here Simon met a range of staff and management, including Ashleigh – a previous job seeker of Break Thru who was successfully placed with Transfield Services.

Ashleigh had her hands full conducting Information and Interview Sessions together with holding the two days of Inductions for successful job seekers joining Transfield. Despite this, she was available to meet Simon and discuss her role with the company.

Ashleigh has done so well for herself since joining Break Thru. Being a stand-out job seeker, Ashleigh has since risen from Trainee Administrator to her current role of Site Administrator for NSW Schools.

Simon and Break Thru are proud of the relationship developed with Transfield Services and the support provided transitioning local job seekers into employment.
