Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a community owned and operated aeromedical search and rescue service.
Each year the Helicopter Service performs over 1200 missions, rescuing people from accident scenes and transporting critically ill patients. The Helicopter Service provides a free service to over one million people, covering a region of 132,000 square kilometres - including the Hunter, Central Coast, Mid North Coast, New England and North West regions of New South Wales.

Pindarri name comes from the meaning “meeting place on the water”. The Pindarri Warriors are made up of player’s from all over NSW and play in a Rugby League knockout every year for the right to host the knockout in their local area. The Knockout is the biggest gathering of Indigenous people in Australia.
